Margo Reed is a Pennsylvania-based documentary and portrait photographer whose work explores threads that make up the modern family.
Margo hails from Oley Valley, PA (population: 1282), where a small art community supported her young photography career until she moved to in Philadelphia in 2014.
She received her BA in Journalism from Temple University in 2018, and went on to do temp. work as a photographer at the Philadelphia Inquirer. Her work has been published in the Associated Press, CNN, New York Times, NPPA Magazine and People, among others.
Outside of freelance work, Margo runs MR Visual Media, a photo and video service offering commercial imagery to community-based organizations.
You might also find Margo playing the viola, going for hikes, or bicycling the Schuylkill River Trail with her dad.
